FINALLY!!

I know it has been oh so long since I have posted a blog.....well......FINALLY I am finished with school!!  I can't believe this day came!!!!  It's been a long road and seeing the light @ the end of the tunnel feels so incredibly amazing!  Right now I still plan on managing the tanning salon, and i am subbing @ the school.  I want to stay with Paul Mitchell and I figure if subbing at the front desk OR as a Learning Leader is definitely a foot in the door

I owe so much to Carlos and my Family for supporting me through this amazing journey!  Carlos always believed in me and told me He knew i could do it!
My very best friend in the whole wide world, Katrina, was able to fly out to be my graduation model!  I was inspired by Lauren Conrad @ the VMA's and went from there!  It does feel a little odd to be done with school, but it's also feels great!!

A QUICKIE??

Carlos and I had the opportunity to take a quick trip to San Francisco last week.  Carlos and his cousin Luis had an appointment with the Embassy to renew their passports, so we decided to make a quickie out of it.  It was a very very short trip, however well worth it!  Carlos served his mission in San Francisco, so it was so amazing to see how excited he was just to be back where he served.  We were of coarse exhausted when we got home, but it was a trip well orth it!  I told Him next time we would stay longer and do more things!

Keigo Sitting

Every year my parent go to Las Vegas for a week and work security at the GLDA Gem and Mineral Show.  We had the chance last year and this tear to dog sit while they were in vegas.  Sure driving from Tucson to Orem then to Vegas is REAL EASY....when you want to see your daughter and favorite son in law!  We love keigo!  it's unreal how a dog can show so much affection! We had a great time both dog sitting AND hanging out with my parents both weekends before and after Vegas, and they were even able to spend their Anniversary with us which was fun.  We are so blessed to be able to have family visit so often!  And we even get to get new drapes this time.....Keigo got anxious for us to return home from church and was watching out the window and our blinds lost the fight!

It's been a while since we have posted anything.  Work and school have been taking it's toll! Carlos and I had the opportunity to see my very very dear friend, Jessica a few weeks ago when her and her daughter came to town.  I miss her so much, and just being able to see her when ever.  Carlos was so cute with her daughter.  Jess, her mom and I were all sitting in the kitchen after dinner talking when we realized Carlos had taken Alessandra for a walk around the property for about 45 minutes.  He has this thing for babies and I seem to get the itch when i see him with them.

buFFalo HuNt....caRlos's FiRst HuNtiNg expeRieNce!

In the beginning of February, I had to opportunity to introduce how I always spent quality time with my family, to Carlos. Hunting. We had the chance to travel to Cimerron NM, to go Buffalo hunting. As Carlos grew up, he never had to opportunity to shoot guns the way I did. We've gone shooting ONE time since we have known each other. This meant I was a little nervous of the thought of spending to much money on a Hunt not knowing how Carlos would do. we met my parents out there, because my mom was going to kill a Buffalo too. So we got out there and of coarse after driving all night and morning, we were TIRED!! and by the time my parents arrived, we got stuff unloaded and they rested, we didn't have anytime for Carlos to practice shooting the rifle. SO....we took him out, we showed him how to look through the scope and taught him that way. He didn't even get to practice. We got to bed, woke up early for the hunt and when it came time for Carlos to shoot.....HE DROPPED IT IN ONE SHOT! i felt so silly, but I was SO proud of him! The first time he shot a high powered rifle He dropped it in one shot. My mom was able to successfully take her's as well. It was a great trip, and fun to meet my parents out there to spend time together.

We went out of our way on the way home to drop off the meat at our meat cutter's in Flagstaff, where my oldest brother Dusty lives. We were able to visit with him and get a bit to eat before we had to head back. We made it home safe and sound and i even made it to school Monday morning!

Venezuela

Carlos and I Had the opportunity to spend a month down in Venezuela, for the holidays.  while it was very different, it was great to see Carlos spend the Holidays how he remembered them.  It was also so nice to be able to meet all of my new family!  We were welcomed with a Huge FIESTA! Seeing Carlos react with his family for the first time in 8 years was an absolutely amazing experience!

While we were there we were able to do SO MUCH! we traveled to different BEAUTIFUL beaches and islands, we ate lots of amazing food, and we got sick! :)
I can honestly say NOW i understand so much more where Carlos comes from, and why he is the way he is.  There is nothing wrong with the way he is, but after our trip I see the reasons behind his way of thinking  Overall it was an unforgettable experience and I am sure there will be more to come in the future.

Joree's Birthday 07

Carlos took me to The Tree Room, in Sundance for my 22nd Birthday.  Great food!

Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity.
